The inaugural event held on Feb. 3 at Penn State Lehigh Valley gave students in sixth through eighth grades a glimpse into the many career opportunities in the science, technology, engineering and math (STEM) fields.

Carmen Rita Wong, former TV personality, co-creator and host of CNBC’s “On the Money,” and author and advice columnist for women’s magazines, will visit Penn State Lehigh Valley on Sept. 21 as part of the campus' Hispanic Heritage Month events. Free and open to the public, Wong will share stories from her memoir, "Why Didn't You Tell Me?" which focuses on family secrets and the lasting impact they can have on parents and children.
Penn State Lehigh Valley student Aidan Johnson, a graduate of Southern Lehigh High School District, has been named overall special events director for 2024 THON, the world's largest student-run philanthropic event.
