CENTER VALLEY, Pa. — The Women’s Basketball Hall of Fame in Knoxville, 田纳西州, has hung a lot of high-profile jerseys from its rafters through the years. And now Penn State 利哈伊谷 (PSU-LV) women’s basketball players Jah'nel Oliver and Taylor 风格 find themselves in that illustrious company.

The hall of fame recently selected the jerseys of Oliver and 风格 for inclusion in its “Ring of Honor,” which consists of more than 100 jerseys on display honoring the top high school and college players from the previous season. 在历史上, the Ring of Honor has displayed jerseys from some of women’s basketball’s biggest superstars, including Candace Parker, Brittney笑, 苏鸟, Candice Wiggins and Breanna Stewart.

Oliver and 风格 both had stellar 2021-22 seasons, as they helped lead the 利哈伊谷 women’s basketball team to its second-best record in program history, finishing with a 22-6 mark and advancing to the Penn State University Athletic Conference (PSUAC) semifinals.

Oliver was named PSUAC East Defensive Player of the Year and First Team All-Conference, as well as USCAA Second Team All-American. Returning next season, she’s only 32 points away from scoring her 1,000th career point. She’s also a dean's list student and on the PSUAC All-Academic Team.

风格, 与此同时, was named PSUAC Honorable Mention All-Conference and USCAA Honorable Mention All-American. This year, she became the fifth PSU-LV women's basketball player to score her 1,000th career point. A transfer from Lackawanna College, 风格 recently graduated from Penn State with a bachelor’s degree in rehabilitation and human services.

Oliver and 风格 join former PSU-LV women's basketball player Ebony Sanders, who graduated in 2020, with the Ring of Honor distinction. Sanders had one of the most decorated playing careers in PSU-LV, PSUAC and USCAA history, scoring more than 1,500 points and grabbing over 1,000 rebounds from 2016 to 2020.
